At a\u00a0workshop with emergency practitioners, commercial and academic developers of information sharing platforms, and experts on digital ethics and law, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.secincore.eu\">SecInCoRe<\/a> project hosted a consultation on\u00a0<em>&#8216;ELSI Guidance for Information Sharing in Disaster Risk Management&#8217;.\u00a0<\/em>This is a community platform we are developing, in partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.psc-europe.eu\">Public Safety Europe<\/a>.<\/h2>\n<p>On 26 January 2017, we hosted a workshop at the International Computer, Data Protection and Privacy Conference in Brussels to open the ELSI Guidance for consultation. Building on discussion around\u00a0a series of talks by emergency responders and IT developers about the practicalities of information sharing, we explored how the guidance might help.
