{"id":802,"date":"2016-03-29T19:32:42","date_gmt":"2016-03-29T18:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=802"},"modified":"2016-03-29T19:32:42","modified_gmt":"2016-03-29T18:32:42","slug":"low-carbon-innovation-in-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/cemore\/low-carbon-innovation-in-china\/","title":{"rendered":"Low Carbon Innovation in China"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>On Sunday 13th March, the ESRC project \u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/steps-centre.org\/project\/low-carbon-china\/\">Low Carbon Innovation in China: Prospects, Politics and Practice<\/a>\u2019 held the closing workshop of its research package on urban e-mobilities at the Shenzhen Graduate School of Tsinghua University, hosted by CeMoRe\u2019s project partner.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event involved over 50 delegates including senior government officials, automotive companies, mobility entrepreneurs, leading academics, NGOs and students to discuss possible futures of urban mobility in China.\u00a0The project team (all in attendance) were Dr Li Ping (Tsinghua), Dr Dennis Zuev, Dr David Tyfield and Professor John Urry (all CeMoRe).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the light of the sad and shocking news about the sudden death of\u00a0Prof <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/john-urry\/\">Urry<\/a>, we will report this event in more detail at a later date.
