Research Overview

As a researcher, I am passionate about using discourse and metaphor analysis to understand and influence how we talk about key social issues including immigration, mental health and gender equality. I look for roles that connect research with practice and support positive, evidence-informed change. Recently, I have become particularly interested in creative data collection methods (such as creative workshops) as an approach to more collaborative, inclusive and participatory research.

As an educator, I strive to bring equality and inclusion to module design and delivery. Given my background as an international student, I design and deliver modules that foreground diverse voices, encourage critical reflection, and foster a sense of belonging in higher education.
