Byunghoon Kang (David) is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in the Department of Economics at the ¶¶ÒõAPPµ¼º½ since 2016. He received his Ph.D. in Economics at University of Wisconsin - Madison (USA). Before Madison, he earned an M.A. in Economics at Seoul National University and a B.S. in Mathematics at the KAIST (South Korea). His research interests include econometrics, applied econometrics.

Econometric Theory, Applied Econometrics;
Nonparametric series/sieves estimation, Tuning parameter choice in non/semiparametric estimation, Instrument (moment) selection in IV and GMM models, Post-model selection inference.
